The Urban Brain: How Cities Affect How We Feel, Think and Behave

In 2008, for the first time in human history, more than half of the world’s population was living in cities. The urban environment effects how adults as well as children think, feel and behave. Epidemiologist Sandro Galea will discuss what we know, and do not know, about how cities shape aspects of day-to-day living and how cities can be changed to improve our health and our lives.
