The Voice of Freedom – Social Change through the Arts at The New School

The “Voice of Freedom” presents several community-based arts collaborations led by students from the New School for Public Engagement’s “Transforming Community Through the Arts” course. These include “Unmasking my past, reclaiming my future,” a theater piece created with survivors of human trafficking, a Peace Trilogy Anti-War Flash Mob, and a documentary trailer focusing on the creation of a Race Relations Mural painted at “Make the Road New York” and other arts and social change projects.  Audience participation is mandatory! Also in support of the program, renowned artist Broderick Price will have his moving anti-war painting collection on exhibition. Refreshments will be provided. Sponsored by the Creative Arts Therapy Program at The New School for Public Engagement.
