Trinity Church Pop-Up Exhibit #2: Alexander Hamilton, Churchman

In this second pop-up exhibit, Trinity Church Wall Street shares rarely seen archival documents that offer a glimpse of  Alexander Hamilton’s life as a New Yorker.  New to this display are a baptismal register showing the 1788 baptism of three Hamilton children, a 1790 Pew list showing Hamilton renting pew 92 and  a 1796 legal case with Hamilton’s  signature (Hamilton at times served as Trinity’s legal counsel), along with the 1787 Clergy salary subscription list and  1792 Assistant Minister petition shown in the first pop-up. Trinity’s archivists, Anne Petrimoulx and Joe Lapinski, will be on hand to answer questions.
