Recent concerns about soaring student debt and narrowing job opportunities have raised critical questions about the cost, scope, and purpose of a college education in the United States, including the value of a liberal arts degree.

This multidisciplinary conference will address urgent issues regarding the cost and content of college education while examining the significance of the liberal arts in shaping active moral leaders who will promote the common good.
