About Leslie Day
Naturalist Leslie Day is the author of several books on New York City’s flora, fauna, and parks. Her latest book is Field Guide to the Neighborhood Birds of New York City, Johns Hopkins University Press, 2015.

About Kevin Baker
Kevin Baker is novelist, historian, and journalist, who lives in New York and often writes about the city. His most recent historical novel is, The Big Crowd, from Houghton Mifflin (2013).
