Free Weekly Lunchtime Organ Concert at Marble Collegiate Church

Marble Collegiate Church will offer free lunchtime organ concerts on Thursdays throughout February, continuing into the first week of March. The Marble Lunchtime Organ Concert Series will provide “a break for the soul” in the church’s stunning sanctuary at 12:30pm on the following Thursdays: February 4, 11, 18, and 25, and on March 3.

The church’s spectacular pipe organ was installed in October 2015. It was designed and voiced by Sebastian M. Glück of Glück Pipe Organs in New York City and has nearly 6,500 pipes spread over seven divisions, with a four-manual console that will command 101 ranks of pipes.

Among the organists performing during the series are the following:

  • David Hurd, Concert Organist;
  • James Kennerley, Organist/Choirmaster at St. Ignatius of Antioch Episcopal Church;
  • Christopher Creaghan, Associate Organist at The Riverside Church.
