Zerbanoo Gifford: An Uncensored Life

Described as a piece of dynamite, a tornado and a cosmic networker, Zerbanoo Gifford has lead a life of breaking boundaries, facing life and death situations and impacting positive change for those whose voices go unheard. Zerbanoo is not one to sit by and hope for the best.  A human rights advocate and one of the first ethnic women to enter British politics, Zerbanoo decided to do something for the poor children of India when she was only seven years old. Since then she has been quietly but effectively championing unpopular causes that address women’s empowerment, human trafficking and human rights in India, Africa and the UK.

Come meet Zerbanoo Gifford and hear her story of inspired and unbridled leadership. Joining her is Farida Master, journalist and author of Zerbanoo Gifford: An Uncensored Life.  In an engaging program Zerbanoo will be interviewed by Leslie Grossman,Vice-Chair of the Global Advisory Council and Chief Advisor for Impact Leadership 21, a global platform providing leadership solutions that drive change creating inclusive and sustainable economies.

An Evening with Zerbanoo Gifford is the first in an Open Center series to highlight people who are quietly changing the world for the better.

About the series:  The political landscape has changed dramatically since November leaving millions concerned, frustrated and fearful.  Some have chosen activism and resistance as an antidote to the election, while others choose to ignore the results and hope things turn out okay.  And then there are the silent heroes, working tirelessly in the communities.  They are our brightest hope.
