Ishmael Beah

A former child soldier, Ishmael Beah became a bestselling author for his 2007 memoir A Long Way Gone, which has been translated into more than 30 languages. Now, Beah introduces his first novel Radiance of Tomorrow, a story set just after the conclusion of the decade-long civil war in his home of Sierra Leone.
