146th CityLaw Breakfast Featuring New York City First Deputy Mayor Anthony Shorris

New York Law School’s CityLaw Breakfast Series continues with featured guest New York City First Deputy Mayor Anthony Shorris.

First Deputy Mayor Shorris is the second-highest ranking official at City Hall and is charged with managing the day-to-day operation of city government and the provision of core services across the five boroughs. He comes to the post as a proven manager at city agencies, public authorities, and private sector institutions. Shorris began his service at City Hall in 1978 during the Koch Administration.

Anthony W. Crowell, Dean and President of New York Law School, and Professor Ross Sandler, founding director of the Center for New York City Law at New York Law School, will give opening remarks.

CityLaw breakfasts are held six to eight times a year at New York Law School and feature prominent speakers discussing current government and political issues. They are free and open to the public; however, donations are welcome. An audience Q&A follows each speaker’s remarks.

This is the 146th CityLaw Breakfast. Video presentations from past CityLaw Breakfasts can be viewed here. Founding sponsors of the breakfasts include Consolidated Edison, Verizon, and Greenberg Traurig LLP. The special sponsor for this breakfast is Kostelanetz & Fink, LLP.
