17th Annual Stein Lecture on Alzheimer’s

Stein2WHAT: Geriatrician and dementia expert G. Allen Power will deliver The New Jewish Home’s 17th annual Stein Lecture on Alzheimer’s. He will speak about the subject of his debut book, Dementia Beyond Drugs: Changing the Culture of Care, which won a Book of the Year Award from the American Journal of Nursing. Dr. Power is Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Rochester, and a Fellow of the American College of Physicians/American Society for Internal Medicine. Dr. Power is also a Certified Eden Alternative® Educator, a member of the Eden Alternative board of directors, and an international educator on transformational models of care for older adults, particularly those living with changing cognitive abilities.
