2ND ANNUAL NATIONAL HISPANIC ALZHEIMER’S CONFERENCE

On Saturday, November 19, 2016, the 2nd Annual National Hispanic Alzheimer’s Conference will take place in New York City hosted by Fuerza Contra Alzheimer’s, Brookdale Center for Healthy Aging of Hunter College, and CaringKind, NYC’s leading experts in Alzheimer’s and dementia care for more than three decades. The conference will be in both Spanish and English.

Through a series of workshops, keynote speakers, and panel discussions, the Conference will increase awareness, expand knowledge and caregiving skills, and build stronger health and social support resource networks that help families impacted by Alzheimer’s.  In addition, the Conference will strengthen the understanding and collaboration among health professionals and social service professionals and promote support and advocacy for national and state level Alzheimer’s related policy and funding support initiatives.

Health and social service professionals, researchers, public officials, and families impacted by an Alzheimer’s or dementia diagnosis are welcome to attend.

A boxed lunch will be provided.
