Holocaust biographer Heather Dune Macadam discusses the little-known story of the first Jewish transport to Auschwitz made up entirely of young women.

She will discuss with survivors’ children their family members clung to life and hope for three long years in the death camps; Macadam’s relationship with those survivors, their children, and with non-survivors’ families.
