A Conversation with Jeanne Blasberg and Amy Poeppel

Join authors Jeanne McWilliams Blasberg and Amy Poeppel at Shakespeare & Co. to talk education, corruption, and literary response.

Jeanne’s newest novel, The Nine, is the story of Sam Webber, young man who chooses to expose the corrupt underworld of his boarding school—even if it means jeopardizing his mother’s hopes and dreams. Amy Poeppel’s Small Admissions follows Kate Pearson through the highly competitive and occasionally absurd culture of private school admissions, where she interviews all types of children and deals with Park Avenue parents who refuse to take no for an answer.

Jeanne Blasberg is on the board of directors and is an avid student at Grub Street, one of the nation’s preeminent creative writing centers, where she is hard at work on her next book.

Amy Poeppel is the author of the novels MUSICAL CHAIRS (coming July 2020), LIMELIGHT, and SMALL ADMISSIONS.

Refreshments will be served.

Books will be available for purchase and signing at the event.
