John is the Co-Founder and CEO of Whole Foods Market, Co-Founder of the nonprofit Conscious Capitalism, Inc., and co-author of Conscious Capitalism and most recently, Conscious Leadership. He has devoted his life to selling natural and organic foods and building a better business model. September 2020 marks the 40th anniversary of the opening of the very first Whole Foods Market.

Jewel is Head of Google for Startups in the US, where she works to level the playing field for diverse startup founders and communities by connecting them with the best that Google’s products, skills, and people have to offer. Jewel is an advocate for representation in, and access to, the technology industry. She currently serves as Managing Partner at Collab Capital, an investment fund that connects Black founders to the financial and social capital needed to build profitable businesses. Previously, Jewel was CEO & Co-Founder of Partpic (acq. Amazon), which streamlines the purchase of maintenance and repair parts using computer vision.
PROFESSOR & AUTHOR
Rebecca is a professor at Harvard, a research fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research, and a fellow of both the British Academy and of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. She is an expert on innovation and organizational change, and her research explores the degree to which the private sector can play a major role in building a more sustainable economy, focusing particularly on the relationships between organizational purpose, innovation, and productivity in high-performance organizations. Her first book, Reimagining Capitalism in a World on Fire, was published in April 2020.

In 2013, Irma Olguin Jr. decided to build a company focused on strengthening the tech industry in Fresno, CA, and leveraging it as the economic driver to remake the city. Today, Bitwise Industries operates with the goal of activating human potential for the technology industry in underdog cities across the United States.
As Co-Founder & CEO, Irma oversees the company’s operations teams, as well as the technology-focused training program, Geekwise Academy, and the software development firm, Shift3 Technologies. A large part of Irma’s work focuses on Bitwise Industries’ overall mission, strategy, and long-term goals.
