Jack A. Naglieri, PhD, has held faculty appointments at Northern Arizona University, The Ohio State University, and George Mason University. He is currently a senior research scientist at the Devereux Center for Resilient Children and an emeritus professor of psychology at George Mason University.

About This Event

As a practicing psychologist, university professor, researcher, and intelligence test author, I have concluded that we can increase validity and equity by embracing a second generation of intelligence tests. I will summarize what I have learned over the last 50 years along with research findings that clearly demonstrate we can improve this technology by reconceptualizing intelligence according to the PASS neurocognitive theory. The key is to measure thinking in a manner that is not confounded by knowing.
