At 8:15 pm, she will introduce a screening of Philip Kaufman’s rediscovered classic of 1974, The White Dawn. The White Dawn is an adventure drama set in 1896, about three American whalers (Timothy Bottoms, Warren Oates and Louis Gossett Jr.) who are rescued by the Eskimo people of the Canadian Arctic.

During the reception, you will also have the opportunity to purchase a copy of Annette Insdorf’s new book, Philip Kaufman, at a discounted price.
