A Discussion with "The Declaration of Independence (and Related Questions): Inventions and Distortions of Reality and History-- in the Service of Real and Repeated Atrocity Part 1- Profound Inequality, Brutal Oppression-- and Crude Distortion of the Actual Foundation and Nature of this Country" Bob Avakian (BA) is a radically different leader. He has developed a whole new framework for human emancipation, the new communism. Today, after 50 years in the revolutionary movement, BA continues to throw his all into identifying in a sweeping way, what humanity is up against, why we’re in that situation; where we can and need to go; how to get there; and all the obstacles that stand in our way. His profound, critical and timely new series on the Declaration of Independence (And Related Questions) is an example of what he has been doing. We encourage everyone to join Carl Dix and the RevCom Corps for the Emancipation of Humanity for a series of discussions digging into this work, starting Monday, June 29 at Revolution Books in Harlem. |
