A Victorian-Inspired Circus Extravaganza

A Night at Niblo’s Garden, the beloved Victorian extravaganza, returns for the seventh annual celebration of Green-Wood’s permanent resident William Niblo (1789-1878). The Cemetery will transform itself into a nineteenth-century pleasure garden for a one-of-a-kind show with entertainment curated by Bindlestiff Family Cirkus, including fire eaters, musicians, contortionists, performers on floats, and more.

This outdoor festivity begins just before twilight. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets and picnic dinners as they enjoy the show on the banks of Crescent Water, one of Green-Wood’s beautiful glacial ponds, in front of Niblo’s stately and newly restored mausoleum.

Guests in search of additional theatrics can purchase a special VIP experience. VIPs will enjoy: exclusive private performances by Bindlestiff Cirkus; a tour of William Niblo’s famed mausoleum by Mr. Niblo himself (played by author Ben Feldman); complimentary refreshments throughout the evening; a special box of sweet treats to enjoy; and access to prime seating before the general public arrives.
