Abarukas

Abarukas, a young, vital contemporary dance company with direction and choreography by Yoshito Sakuraba, will premiere “Bernadac,” music by Berlin composer Frank Bretschneider (also known as Comet).  The 10-dancer ensemble will also perform Sakuraba’s “No Man is an Island” and “The Master,” set to music by Massive Attack and Terrorfakt.   Originally from Japan, Sakuraba is a storyteller whose inspired works deal mostly with human feelings and experience. Three performances, October 28 (8 PM) and October 29 (3 & 8 PM) at the Gelsey Kirkland Arts Center, 29 Jay Street, Brooklyn NY.
