Afterwork Theater Presents Sing Out: British Invasion!

The British are coming! The British are coming! And we couldn’t be more excited! This season Afterwork Theater presents Sing Out: British Invasion!, a journey through the cultural revolution that introduced American audiences to musical acts like the Beatles in the 1960s and the Spice Girls in the 1990s. William Shakespeare’s classic, Romeo and Juliet, serves as the narrative framework to this jukebox medley of the era’s hits and a reminder of yet another thing we love, love, love about our friends across the pond – their knack for drama! So whether you’re a British expat turned New Yorker, someone who loves great music or a seasoned Anglophile, please join us for one or all of the performances. We promise to ignite your nostalgia, spark new curiosities and spice up your life!
