Aliens of Extraordinary Ability Comedy Hour

Orli Matlow and Felipe Torres Medina are two un-American comedians, from Canada and Colombia (the country!), respectively.

We were granted the privilege to live and work in the United States thanks to the O-1 visa, a visa granted to “aliens of extraordinary ability” who can present United States Citizenship and Immigration Services with a hefty portfolio that highlights their talents and the money they demand to even take a look at it.

Our show will highlight comedians and artists from abroad as we discuss our home countries and the process of moving to the United States, which will also happen to look super damn good on our applications next time our visas are up for renewal.

Immigration is a hot-button issue that is often discussed, and often misunderstood. We hope to demystify the process to make fellow foreigners feel less alone, and lets Americans feel super damn lucky they were simply born within the borders.

Featuring comedy from Juan Nicolon (Uruguay), Jess Salomon (Canada), Katie Boyle (Ireland), Dominic Fogarty (UK) and Jocelyn Chia (Singapore)
