Almost Presidential: Green-Wood Trolley Tour

Green-Wood Logo 2In a presidential election there can only be one winner.  Everyone else is just…a loser.

Just before millions of Americans step into the voting booth for the 2016 election cycle, Green-Wood introduces you to the men who wanted to be president, but ultimately did not prevail. The tour provides some historical insight into the campaigns of yore. Hear of the ambitions and political upsets of presidential hopefuls interred at Green-Wood, including serious candidates like DeWitt Clinton (1812) and Horace Greeley (1872) and lighter weight wannabes like People’s Party Candidate George Francis Train (also 1872) and Bird S. Coler (1904).

Reservations are recommended. If the trolley tour is not sold out, walk-ups will be accommodated on a first-come, first- served basis.
