American Museum of Natural History Presents: Día de Muertos Party

Celebrate Día de Muertos, Oaxacan-style, at the Museum. Join us for a night of traditional Oaxacan food, drinks, and music, as well exclusive access to the Day of the Dead Altar installation dedicated to extinct animal species in the Hall of Biodiversity.

Performances include Mexican beats by DJ PUMA (CDMX), a special poetry jam-style performance of traditional literary calavera poems by Nuyorican Poets Caféartists, and a live set by Oaxacan singer Geo Meneses.

This event is for guests 21 and over only.

The Museum’s Día de Muertos Festival is presented in collaboration with the Mexican State of Oaxaca, an invited cultural partner.

Support for Día de Muertos is provided, in part, by the May and Samuel Rudin Family Foundation, Inc. and the family of Frederick H. Leonhardt.
