Join us on a voyage back fifty years when humans orbited the Moon for the first time and an Apollo 8 crewmember captured Earth floating in space above the Moon’s horizon in the now-iconic photo called “Earthrise.” Let NASA’s short documentary about Apollo 8’s journey and the Museum’s OpenSpace visualization software bring you back to December 1968—a time of turmoil at home and triumph in space.
