American Symphony Orchestra – Hungary Torn

The Jewish population of Hungary suffered profound losses during the latter years of the Second World War. Many of its youngest composers met with tragic ends, their promising careers and legacies never fulfilled. This concert gives a few of those artists their due, featuring their work alongside pieces by Hungarian composers who managed to live through the nightmare.
