AMNH Presents, Frontiers Lecture: The Zoomable Universe

Inspired by the bestselling book and classic film Powers of Ten, the award-winning Columbia University astrobiologist Caleb Scharf leads an epic tour through all known scales of reality, from the largest possible magnitude to the smallest. Drawing on the latest research, he begins at the edge of the observable universe, a scale spanning 10^27 meters—about 91 billion light years—and ends in the subatomic realm, where the fabric of space-time itself seems to warp the rules of physics.
