AMNH Presents | Neuroscience Night: Wild, Wild Brains

Spitzer Hall of Human Origins

$20 per person

21+ with ID, cash bar

Enter at 77th Street entrance

How do our big human brains compare to those of other animal species? How do bats echolocate? And do birds have a sense of taste? Explore the anatomy, behavior, and sensory systems of human and our evolutionary relatives near, far, and extinct with neuroscientists and evolutionary biologists. Join us in the Spitzer Hall of Human Origins and the Sackler Educational Lab, drink in hand, for an evening of after-hours exploration with hands-on experiments, and lightning talks.

The Museum gratefully acknowledges The Mortimer D. Sackler Foundation, Inc. for its support to establish the Sackler Brain Bench, part of the Museum’s Sackler Educational Laboratory for Comparative Genomics and Human Origins, in the Spitzer Hall of Human Origins, offering ongoing programs and resources for adults, teachers, and students to illuminate the extraordinary workings of the human brain.
