AMNH Presents, Randy Cohen: Person Place Thing | Unseen Oceans

Randy Cohen, original author of “The Ethicist” for The New York Times, makes a splash in the new Unseen Oceans exhibition as he records an episode of his popular broadcast and podcast “Person Place Thing” with two Museum scientists who conduct cutting-edge marine research. Venomous sea snail whisperer Mandë Holford and deep-sea evolutionary biologist Mercer R. Brugler share tales from their adventures under the sea. The program also features a live musical performance by The Wisterians, Robert Duncan and Karl Meyer.

Unseen Oceans, which opens to the public on March 12, takes visitors from the oceans’ sunlit surface to inky depths as they discover the latest ocean science and encounter the researchers and technologies powering exploration today.

This program is made possible by OceanX, an initiative of the Dalio Foundation, as part of its generous support of the special exhibition Unseen Oceans and its related educational activities and public programs.
