An Afternoon with Jamel Shabazz

Shabazz shares his work from the exhibition, REPRESENT: Photographs from 1980 – 2012, on view at Central Library beginning December 14. Born and raised in Brooklyn, Shabazz picked up his first camera at the age of 15 and proceeded to record the world around him. He is the author of 3 monographs that feature his photos: Back in the Days, The Last Sunday in June and A Time Before Crack.
