Art + STEM with Zine Making!

A hands-on workshop for educators exploring zines — small, DIY booklets made from a single sheet of paper — as a classroom tool for science instruction.

Participants fold and design their own zines while experimenting with different formats, prompts, and levels of structure. The session covers how to use zines for review, formative assessment, and concept building across science topics, as well as strategies for differentiation, zine clubs, and school events. Attendees leave with project ideas, a sample rubric, and adaptable instructional materials.
