Author’s Favorite Movie Night: Adam Gopnik Presents Double Indemnity

Adam Gopnik has written seven books including his lovely memoir Paris to the Moon, and the most recent The Table Comes First: France, Family and the Meaning of Food. He has also been a staff writer for The New Yorker since 1986.

Gopnik’s choice is Billy Wilder’s 1944 film noir classic, Double Indemnity, starring Fred MacMurray, Barbara Stanwyck and Edward G. Robinson.
