A live competitive storytelling event to benefit the Photo ID Foundation.
Children and young adults battling life-threatening illnesses. The Photo ID Foundation puts cameras and other tools in their hands, allowing them to “speak” about their experiences in words and images.
On a Thursday evening in July, you’ll have the chance to help.
A unique variety of storytellers — including an umpire, an immortal artist, a magazine editor-in-chief, a renaissance man, a doctor, and a Rabbi — will each tell a story relating to the theme of “Baseball As Good Medicine.” They have five minutes tops to tell their story. A panel of judges will then lend their thoughts. All in good fun.
You get to sit in the Clubhouse bleachers, enjoy a beer/beverage/ballpark snack and watch it take place in front of you. Seats are limited, with a contribution of $50. All proceeds go to the Photo ID Foundation.
