Bassist Aaron Olguin

Aaron Olguin is truly one of the rising stars in the double bass world. He is the winner of the 2017 International Society of Bassists Solo Competition, the 2018 Eisemann International Concerto Competition. He also won 2nd prize in the 23rd annual Sphinx Competition. Aaron is the new principal bassist for the Trondheim Symfoniorkester, and is also a founding member of the Bassinova Quartet.

This free online performance is presented by The National Arts Club, in partnership with the Sphinx Organization, as part of a series of classical concerts featuring outstanding young Black and Latino musicians.
