Battle of Brooklyn 250th Anniversary Reenactment

Step back in time with Prospect Park Alliance for a historic re-enactment honoring the 250th Anniversary of the Battle of Brooklyn.

Join the Prospect Park Alliance, the Old Stone House of Brooklyn and the Brigade of the American Revolution to commemorate the 250th Anniversary of the Battle of Brooklyn, the largest battle of the American War for Independence.

11 am: Battle Re-enactment, Prospect Park Long Meadow to Old Stone House: enjoy a re-enactment of the historic Battle of Brooklyn as our re-enactors follow the footsteps of the soldiers who fought in this historic military event, from the Long Meadow down 3rd Street in Park Slope to the Old Stone House.

While you are in the park, visit Prospect Park Alliance's replica of the Battle Pass fortification and an exhibit on the role of Black people in the Battle of Brooklyn, on view at Lefferts Historic House.
