Join us for dinner as author Joyce Lee Malcolm is presented with the 2019 Fraunces Tavern Museum Book Award for her book, The Tragedy of Benedict Arnold: An American Life. An Honorable Mention will also be presented to Bob Drury and Tom Clavin for Valley Forge,  and to Albert Louis Zambone for Daniel Morgan: A Revolutionary Life.

Ticket purchase includes cocktail hour in the Davis Flag Gallery, dinner in the Bissell Room of Fraunces Tavern, and a signed copy of The Tragedy of Benedict Arnold.

Since 1972 the Fraunces Tavern Museum Book Award has been presented annually to the best author of a newly published work on the American Revolutionary War, combining original scholarship, insight, and good writing. This award is one way the Museum fulfills the mission to educate the public about the Revolution and acknowledge the historical community dedicated to the study and public education regarding the American fight for freedom.
