Discover Brooklyn as you’ve never seen it. In this lecture, Dr. Eric W. Sanderson uncovers Brooklyn’s historical ecology and shows how its original forests, wetlands, and waterways inform today’s challenges related to flooding, climate resilience, and environmental justice.
This lecture accompanies Before New York: A Traveling Pop-Up Exhibition, presented in partnership with the New York Botanical Garden, on view in the Green-House Atrium from June 11th through July 20th.
