Join New York Adventure Club for an exclusive, behind-the-scenes tour of Westbeth Artists’ Housing, an artist live-work community located in the former Bell Laboratories complex (1868-1966).

Considered one of the world’s most important research centers for nearly 100 years, Bell Laboratories was responsible for many technological breakthroughs including the first talking movie, the condenser microphone, the first TV broadcast, and the first binary computer were demonstrated.

  • A discussion around the history of Bell Laboratories, and its eventual repurposing as an art complex
  • A trip to the private roof with sweeping views of the city and Hudson River
  • A walkthrough of the historic lobby, atrium, hallways, and company executive suite entrances
  • An exclusive meet & greet with an artist inside their private art studio & residence
