Join author Ayana Mathis for a discussion of her debut novel, The Twelve Tribes of Hattie—an Oprah’s Book Club 2.0 pick that tells the epic story of Hattie Shepherd and her nine children, while painting a vivid portrait of one family’s tribulations against the backdrop of the Great Migration. A book signing will follow the program.
