We’re excited to bring you a special “Beyoncé Vs. Rihanna” Edition of First Fridays, our popular monthly social gathering! Celebrating these two amazing superstars whose music embodies the best of R&B, soul, pop, and Caribbean sounds and whose legacies exemplify the best of Black Girl Magic.
Guests are invited to mix and mingle in the Langston Hughes Lobby and enjoy our signature drinks while grooving to beats by DJ Backbr3aka, with our host of the evening Dhalimu from Dhali’s Closet.
With our extended hours, guests are also invited to check out our three exhibitions Black Power, Power in Print, and Unshackled Ink.
Our First Friday’s community partner is Walker International Communications Group (WICG), that provides consultation to arts organizations, performing arts, visual arts, dance companies, non-profit groups, Broadway and Off-Broadway productions. WICG will be onsite with exciting giveaways and exclusive insight into Broadway’s most exciting productions.
