Beyond Borders, a Women’s Education Project Forum

The determination of a young woman from a poor family, anywhere, to leap the social, academic and workplace hurdles to enter a formal-sector career is inspiring; the benefits to herself, her family, her community, her country, and ultimately, the world, are immense. Women’s Education Project (WEP) will host its second annual Beyond Borders Forum that will focus on the runway leading women to formal sector employment. The evening will feature a Gender Lens Investing panel discussion, WEP’s Red Bangle Award Ceremony, a live performance by Mezzo, an a capella group, and a festive networking hour to learn more about Women’s Education Project’s program in India and get involved!  Cocktails and Hors d’Oeuvres will be served.
