Bits + Mortar: Architecture in the Age of Digital Communication

A one-and-a-half day symposium that will bring together some of the most influential thinkers and achievers in design, technology, fabrication, and publishing to discuss ways in which architecture – enabled by fundamental technological advances – can re-establish itself as a driver of cultural change beyond the discipline’s traditional boundaries.

Featured speakers include Nicholas Negroponte, an architect, co-founder, and Chairman Emeritus of MIT’s Media Lab and the One Laptop per Child Association (OLPC); the world-renowned architect Frank Gehry, FAIA; and Esther Dyson, the former Forbes journalist and Wall Street technology analyst.
