Black History Month Event: St. Ann’s Church

This Black History Month event will feature Professor Craig Steven Wilder, a Brooklyn native who teaches at MIT in Cambridge, Mass. Dr. Wilder has written extensively on the impact of race on social relations and public institutions. He will be joined by the archivist of the Episcopal Diocese of Long Island, who will share registers documenting slave marriages that took place in St. Ann’s Church and a wealth of other historical records and information.
