Journalist and editor Amelia Abraham joins artist and nightlife legend Linda Simpson for a conversation celebrating Sex, Clubs, Dissent: Visualising Queer Nightlife, Abraham's latest editorial project — a vivid photographic and essayistic history of queer nightlife and the image-makers who documented it.

The book explores how photography has fostered, and at times jeopardized, queer practices, subcultures, and forms of resistance — asking what decades of nightlife documentation can tell us about pleasure, politics, and protest. A love letter to those who went out and stayed out.

Book signing to follow. In person ($5, includes gallery access) and online.
