Book Launch: “Wonder: 50 Years RISD Glass”

The Rhode Island School of Design Glass Department is celebrating the launch of its new book, Wonder: 50 Years RISD Glass, with a panel discussion, book signing, and reception. This comprehensive publication brings together contributions from scholars, cultural critics, and makers, giving context to the breadth of the field of glass, and supports a deep and expansive understanding of the ways in which this ubiquitous material manifests itself in ways that incite wonder.

Art critic and independent curator Gregory Volk will lead a discussion with RISD Glass friends and alumni Jen Bervin, Tavares Strachan, and Stefanie Pender about RISD Glass’ dynamic environment of experimentation and investigation, followed by a reception and book signing with the contributors.
