Book Release for “Transgender Medicine: A Multidisciplinary Approach”

Lenox Hill Hospital’s Friedman Transgender Health and Wellness Program will lead a panel discussion of experts in transgender care to educate and inform people of all ages about the psychological, legal, ethical and social issues surrounding transgender patient care.

The Gerald J. Friedman Transgender Program for Health & Wellness at Northwell Health/Lenox Hill Hospital was launched in 2016 under the leadership of Leonid Poretsky, MD, Chief of the Division of Endocrinology. It offers trans-affirmative, comprehensive care in a safe, non-judgmental environment for transgender and gender nonconforming communities throughout New York City and the tri-state area.
