Historians Breitman and Lichtman examine the evidence in the debate whether President Roosevelt did enough to save the Jews of Hitler’s Europe and argue that the president was neither savior nor bystander.

This book talk is presented in conjunction with the exhibition Against the Odds: American Jews and the Rescue of Europe’s Refugees, 1933-1941. Tour the exhibition at 1:30 p.m. Registration for the tour is suggested. Call 646-437-4202.
