Join novelist and journalist Tim Murphy for a reading from his acclaimed 2019 novel Correspondents about the tragic effects of war, migration and the forceful displacement of two families–one Arab-American, one Iraqi.

Murphy will be joined by his advisors on the novel – war refugee Yasir Dhannoon and Executive Director of The Syria Fund, Lexi Shereshewsky – whose personal experiences and hands-on knowledge of Iraq and Lebanon’s cultural identities helped Murphy in developing an accurate portrayal of the region.
