Brokeback Mountain Panel Discussion

New York City Opera, The Center and UCross present this panel discussion with composer Charles Wuorinen and the cast of Wuorinen’s opera, “Brokeback Mountain.” UCross alum and Pulitzer Prize winner Charles Wuorinen discusses creating “Brokeback Mountain” and working with the original short story author, Annie Proulx, on the libretto. Victoria Munro, Executive Director of Alice Austen House, moderates the discussion which also includes the opera’s conductor, director and cast members for a Q&A with the audience. “Brokeback Mountain” is the second production in City Opera’s Pride Series after last season’s production of Eötvös’s “Angels in America.” Space is limited, reserve today!
