The Bronx Brewery Legacy Trolley Tour

Woodlawn Cemetery partners with The Bronx Historical Society for this one-of-a-kind tour.

Woodlawn Cemetery is the final resting place to many notables and their families who have contributed to a beer-brewing legacy in The Bronx dating back to the 1850s.

These mostly German families have made their impact in communities such as Melrose, Morrisania, Mott Haven, and other areas in the South Bronx.

To celebrate this legacy, this tour will take participants on our Woodlawn Trolley, beginning at Woodlawn Cemetery and then on to the borough’s newest breweries and beer halls.

The Bronx County Historical Society will lead the tour.

We will be meeting at the Jerome Avenue and Bainbridge Avenue gate at 11:45 AM and the Trolley Tour will begin at 12:00 PM

There are only 30 seats so tickets must be purchased in advance.

We look forward to hosting you in 2018.
