Come together for the release of Well-Read Black Girl: Finding Our Stories, Discovering Ourselves, an inspiring new anthology of essays by Black women writers—including Jesmyn Ward, Jacqueline Woodson, Gabourey Sidibe, and more—on the importance of recognition in literature. Glory Edim, editor of the volume and founder of the popular Well-Read Black Girl book club, hosts a conversation with contributing writers Nicole Dennis-Benn, Jamia Wilson, Kaitlyn Greenidge, Carla Bruce-Eddings, and Renée Watson, followed by a book signing and a reception with music by DJ Reborn.
